The number one reason to visit The Rock? So you can urinate on the devil. The men’s restroom has painted toilets that make target practice fun by putting artistic devil heads right in the fashionably black urinals. Fun stuff.
The whole restaurant has a fun fire theme to go along with the wood-fired pizza. The menu is enormous. There’s all kinds of pizza, sandwiches, burgers and calzones but the pizzas sounded the most interesting to me. They also have microbrews on tap.
The shrimp was good, but there were far too few.
I’ve got a soft spot for bbq chicken pizza, and this one also has peppered bacon. Great success!
Not a bad pizza, but the whole olives were a little overpowering for my taste.
Tasty and refreshing microbrew.

The Rock Wood Fired Pizza & Brewery is open late — which made it an easy choice for us on a Sunday night at 9:30pm. But I was glad that the late hour did not mean we were stuck with “denny’s-food”.
First bonus: They served beer by the pitcher!
Second bonus: Most of their dishes are named after rock songs from the glorious 80’s.
Third bonus: The menu was plentiful and it was really tough picking what to get.
It was pretty quiet when we were there, but I could see this as a bustling place on any other day and hour. I will have to check it out again the next time I go to the Seattle office!
So I heard that clam chowder in Seattle was good. The one at The Rock is decent. If anything, it was almost a little too thick…
