3.0Great Wicker Park Division street location and good pulled pork. The beef brisket was too dry and not flavorful enough for my liking. It did have a good amount of smoke flavor and perhaps that appeals to some, but I prefer the brisket at Smoque. The pulled pork was close to perfection. moist, non overwhelming sauce and yet still had enough smoke flavor. Get it in sandwich form and you’ll have more than enough for a meal under $10.
Avoid green beans as a healthy alternative side dish. Too oily and not the freshest beans. Perhaps the cornbread or mac n cheese are safer bets.
I’ll probably go again, but only because it’s close to me.
