Key Lime Pie is pretty good. Great key lime flavor you expect and the custard is smooth and creamy. Not the best I’ve ever had, but very good nevertheless. Thumbs up!

Butterscotch Pudding with Chocolate Ganache topped with Chocolate Malted Whipped Cream. This is definitely one of those “comfort food” desserts. I can’t remember the last time I’ve ever had butterscotch pudding or even seen it on a menu. It tasted like homemade – you can image someone stirring the pot on low heat to make it just right. The butterscotch flavor coats your tongue just like the candy. The ganache was good, but the chocolate malted whipped cream was da bomb! I could eat a bowl of just the whipped cream. I just loved the malt flavor! Thumbs up, way up!

Spinach Salad served with prosciutto, feta cheese, and warm bacon shallot vinaigrette. This salad has perfectly blended flavors. The spinach, bacon, and feta complement each other. Now, what’s better than bacon dressing! The vinaigrette is surprisingly light but packed full of flavor and ties the whole salad together. Thumbs up, way up!

Miso Butterfish is grilled to perfection to bring out the flavor of this fatty fish. The miso glaze is perfect, but the Gochujang chili plum sauce on the bottom was too sweet. It would be better with the spicy sweet chili sauce that is served with lumpia; or perhaps add a little more spicy heat to counteract the sweet? The lemon beurre blanc sauce was the perfect complement to the fish adding luxurious flavor to the fish. The bok choy was perfectly cooked so you can taste the freshness of the vegetable – green and slightly sweet. Otherwise, thumbs up, way up on the Miso Butterfish and bok choy!

World-Famous Coconut Shrimp is served with Papaya-Mango Chutney. Wow! This is amazing! The shrimp is perfectly cooked and the coconut adds a nice crispy texture and slight sweetness. The chutney is perfect; not too sweet yet pairs well with the shrimp. Thumbs up, way up!

Ahi Poke Napoleon is stacked with guacamole and flatbread. It’s a beautiful presentation. This is a California take on poke so if you’re thinking that it will taste like poke from Hawaii, you’ll be disappointed. If you don’t know what poke is supposed to taste like, you’ll probably love it. I’m not saying I don’t like it. It just doesn’t match my flavor palate. It’s a little light on the “poke” flavor. If it were me, I would definitely punch up the sesame oil, shoyu (soy sauce), and some chopped Maui onion. The ahi can definitely stand up to the flavor. The guacamole is good, but the creaminess muted the flavor of the tuna.

Crab Bisque has lump blue crab, sherry, cream, and crushed croutons. OMG! This is a luxurious soup! The crab flavor hits you like a freight train. The cream soup base is rich and silky. This soup would be great if paired with just a Caesar salad. It’s a meal in itself. Thumbs up, way up!

Lobster Grilled Cheese & Heirloom Tomato Soup served with Maine lobster, 3 cheeses, on sourdough bread. The Lobster Grilled Cheese is amazing! It’s a like a lobster roll with cheese and grilled crust. The cheese surprisingly matches well with the lobster, adding a creamy flavor which brings out the sweetness of the lobster just like drawn butter. But I would pass on the Heirloom Tomato Soup or ask to replace it with the Crab Bisque. It tasted as if pizza sauce was thinned down to become a soup. It’s very herby, but just not the right consistency. It needs to be thickened up a bit. Otherwise, thumbs up, way up on the Lobster Grilled Cheese!

Creekstone Farms Petite Filet Mignon was served with a mushroom port reduction (ask your server for the daily preparation). The filet was tender and the sauce helped bring out the natural flavor of the beef instead of covering it up. The green apple rice was okay. It might be better with a side of garlic smashed potatoes. Otherwise, thumbs way up on the filet mignon!

I love their Pina Colada Cake! Every time I come here, I always end up with a piece to take home. Pineapple and coconut are made to be with each other just like chocolate and peanut butter. The frosting is luscious, light, fluffy, and just dreamy. The cake reminds me of Asian-style cake – light, fluffy, and a little spongy. My tummy was so happy! Thumbs up, way up!
