Nathan Bates (chef at Lucy’s Table for the last 6 years) just joined the once-crowned "Best Seafood Chef in Canada" (per the NY Times) Mark Potovsky in the kitchen of Uptown Billiards Club on October 28th. Working together, UBC now provides unarguably some of the best food to be found in Portland – at prices of about half what our meals would cost you anywhere comparable in town.

With service that is as friendly and genuine as it is proficient, an ambiance unlike anything else in town, incomprehensible food and a wine list that will drop your jaw, Uptown Billiards is quickly losing it’s status as Portland's best kept dining secret.
