4.0We were in the mood for something different the other night and wandered over (and by wandered i mean drove in circles attempting to find parking on main street for about 10 minutes and then ended up walking half a block). The restaurant itself is quite small but was relatively full especially considering that it was a thursday night. The guy at the counter was borderline apathatic, followed by rude(although you may have more luck if you look a bit less pierced and tattooed than we do.that seemed to make a difference) despite all of these things conspiring against us,the four star rating was earned solely on the basis of the food. Also, nearly 3/4 of the menu is available in either vegetarian or vegan friendly versions.
Mi Xao (with Shrimp)
Ordered both ways (one order crispy noodles, one soft)
Cha gio (Available in Vegetarian or Meat)
We opted for the meat.I have no idea what was in these but it was damn good.
Crab Chips (Was on the daily specials board by the register)
Something akin to the crab version of pork rinds. Sounds strange, tastes great.
Mushroom, bamboo shoot, water chestnut, baby corn, snow pea, napa, carrot, and broccoli sauteed in brown sauce. (Available with shrimp, chicken, pork or beef and either crispy or soft noodles)
Vegetables are crisp, brown sauce is light and flavorful and the shrimp were tender.
All takeout orders include utensils as well as chopsticks.

5.0Once you enter into this place, it looks like a place from Veitnam, 1968. Small, quaint, different. Some say it needs a make over. I was very comfortable in it. Great to bring family, friends, and a date. Best noodles and Pho dishes. But my favorite dish I always get once a month is the Family Favorite with scallops, lobster, steak, chicken, shrimp, pork in a sauce with veggies. Its a TWO DAY meal for $8.99. I eat a lot. And trust me, you get a lot of food at a very great price. Saturday’s and Sundays this place is always packed. So that will tell you the food is excellent.
For a vegetarian dish, this one packs a lot of flavor and great vietnamese spices that give you a spicy warmth, and not a hot spicy heat. Noodles were cooked to perfection.
This dish has scallops, shrimp, lobster, steak, chicken, calamari, with veggies and a noodle. This dish has it all and very filling with great spices and not salty. I recommend this dish for the flavor, price, and being LOADED!

10/25/2008to be honest, i would take outright abuse from a good restaurant, especially if they were really vegetarian-friendly.
