Look, I hang around Washington Square, I love American diners, and as a vegetarian, I need a choice of breakfast food, pasta and salads at all hours – so this works for me! My pasta came with soup AND salad. They put bread on the table (although the butter was prepackaged) and they provide a peppermint on the way out – that’s how I like my diners. The salad that came with my dinner was big, so I got my money’s worth here. As we were leaving, we saw someone having pie a la mode and the ice cream was 2 scoops each the size of a fist. I definitely will go back for dessert. Service was good, it was clean. We spent $25.00 for 2 of us and left satisfied.
I definitely will come back because the menu says: “All entrees served with a cup of soup, salad & choice of pasta. Pasta Selection: Linguine, Rigatoni, Penne, Spaghetti, Angel Hair, Tortellini, Fettuccini” AND they provide a choice of sauces – this is what I look for!
Tortelini came with soup AND salad. The salad was an ample size. I usually have oil and vinegar, but the vinegar was not edible. My sister had the soup and liked it. It was a huge portion of pasta and I ate it all (because I had waited 10 hours for my sister to meet me) as I was hungry. I really liked that they gave me a choice of sauces for the tortelini. I will come back to try other pasta choices.
This is under Specialty wraps: Chicken Caesar Wrap Romaine Lettuce, Grilled Chicken Breast, Croutons, Parmesan Cheese, Topped with Caesar Dressing. It was a generous size.
