Completely authentic delicious place for yakitori and other Japanese foods. Particularly love the tako wasa, tsukune yakitori, shishito peppers with tsukune, the natto in yuba yakitori, and the chicken meat balls with rice. Great salads, good selection of sakes.

The yakitori is very good here, I think it beats the joints on St Mark’s Place… it’s more $$, but worth the extra cost. Make sure you go early for the ‘special’ yakitori – soft knee bone, etc.

this small modern japanese joint offers one of the most authentic yakitori in nyc. there’s so many different dishes to try and they are all equally impressive. super good, and super long wait.
