I’m a huge sucker for frozen yogurt, so i looked forward to finally trying this place. It was a pain to find, since the lighted sign doesn’t light up anymore (apparently for a while, lazy owner!). Anyways, as the other reviews said, this place is SELF-serve yogurt. You grab a styrofoam cup and go crazy (you can get a little sample cup and try all of them to your heart’s delight, too). There are usually around 12 or 14 flavors i think. At the end of the machines, there are TONS of toppings; fruit, chocolate, anything you can think of to use as topping. I usually go with fruit, especially the blueberries and mango.

The frozen yogurt itself is also good, since you can mix and match how you want. Pistachio, Boysenberry, Chocolate Custard, and most of them are good. The tart flavors are good, but get kind of annoying after a while, so i usually get a small amount of it.

Before you go crazy, though, remember that you get charged by the ounce. I tend to not overdo the toppings since they are extra weight. Also, a friend that has been to Pinkberry said he likes this place more…. so try it.

Not exactly a restaurant – it’s actually a little frozen yogurt shop. Comparable to PinkBerry (in LA), I’ve heard, but I’ve never been there before. This place is amazing though! You pick a big cup and head to the wall of frozen yogurt flavors to choose from. There’s “regular” flavors like vanilla, berry, but I usually go for the tart flavors. Asian peach, pineapple, mango, mm..For those of you who aren’t familiar, Tart has a tangy flavor…it reminds me of the Yangleduo (yogurt) drink. So mix and match, put whatever you want in your cup (you pay by ounce) and before you pay, don’t forget to pick toppings! From fresh fruit (real mangoes, strawberries, kiwis, lychee etc), to jellies, syrups, cereal, sprinkles, brownie crumbs, gummy bears, etcetcetc. Don’t forget their mochi bites too! Yogurt World never fails to make me happy! =]

when the closest pinkberry is an hour away… yogurt world has to suffice.

it starts with a white styrofoam med. sized cup on the right side of the store. then comes THE WALL of yogurt w/at least 12 different flavors. if you’re used to Pinkberry, i would stick with the regular or green tea. if you are more bold, then ask for a sample cup and try as many flavors as you like. some notable flavors.. cookies and cream, mango, and peach. but the flavors come and go.

next… toppings. there are like a million toppings, none of them too good, except for the rice cake. but that is not always there either, i usually call ahead to see if they have it. the fruit isn’t ripe, or they’re sugar coated. the fruit cocktail, is straight up out of the can and drenched in syrup. there is also a huge assortment of cookies (circus animals, chocolate chip), candy (m&m’s, gummy worms), some cereal, all in a messy, unkempt corner.

this place is a self-serve soft serve fro-yo shop, you pay by weight. so beware, don’t sneak a taste before you pay, the lady w/glasses will yell at you!

While frozen yoghurt will never top ice cream (which will never top frozen custard) in my book, this yoghurt is very good, the variety of flavors is excellent (asian peach?), the real hook for me is the number of really fresh toppings that are available, in particular the fresh fruit. And as my friend noted, it has “the freshest gummie worms” we’ve ever tasted. The line moves fast, but there is always a line.

The Best part of this place is that you help yourself to over 14 different flavors of frozen yogurt and the variety of fresh fruit, jellies, mochi, dry toppings. The price is measured by weight. Always a bit crowded, this place is a fun hangout and the yogurt leaves little to be desired.
