The burger trend has finally hit DC and this is one of the newer entrants. I went here for lunch and got the cheeseburger with bacon, the french fry and onion ring combo and a chocolate marshmallow milkshake. This is the type of place where you order at the counter and wait for your number to be called. The space has an industrial feel to it and is shared with a sandwich shop on the other side. There is indoor or outdoor seating.

First up, my milkshake and what a treat that was! They offer a slew of flavors from which to choose – close to 50! This one was a real treat and would be my main reason for returning. It had just the right thickness and tasted great!

Next up, my meal. The burger was fine – in my opinion not quite as tasty as one from Five Guys, but acceptable. I prefer my burgers a bit juicier and I like a softer bun. I liked being able to get the onion ring and fries combo, but again, neither of them were anything unusual. Of course, for a reasonably priced and filling meal you can’t go wrong. However, if you are really looking for a great burger you may want to go elsewhere. Don’t miss out on the milkshakes though!!

I love burgers and have had the chance to eat at almost every fast causual burger join the the dc metro area. I think that their burger is superior to five guys. Their shakes take zburger to the top of my list.
