I stopped in Za Za per a recommendation by a friend. I was not disappointed. It was a pleasant summer day in NYC, and I was happy to see that they have seating outside in the alley behind the restaurant so that it felt like a courtyard. The food was tasty and fresh and served promptly, my pasta dish was great, having fresh vegetables and balls of molten mozzarella. Za Za was definitely good food and reasonably priced.
Lightly breaded Calamari with a delicious spicy tomato sauce on the side. It was a generous portion for two to share.
Hearty fusilli pasta mixed with sauteed fresh vegetables and mixed with fresh mozzarella in a tangy tomato sauce.

Perfect for family and if you go with your co-workers they have a great deal before 6.30 on the Happy Hour time for food and drinks. Very good Chef.
The sauce was just perfect and apparently
they only use beef wich is a great plus
Spicy sauce with shrimp. Very recommended
