Terrible service, Terrible food

Its such a shame that this place has such terrible service. whoever is training these guys needs to get fired. i ate there with 3 other people and was told that the wait was goig to be over 2 hours. give me a break. then on top of that they dont even take reservations. i ended up having the moules provencale after waithing and it was terrible. it tasted fishy and were way over cooked. my girlfriend had the salmon crepe and there were to many capers and it was salty and bitter because of that. i told the manager and he told me that he would take it off the bill and when we got our check it was stil lthere. rediculous! if this place real wants to expand and become a chain restaurant that is successful then they are going to have to change things like that. i will never be back again and i will tell everyone that i know not to eat there either.

Great tasting crepes, in an interesting...

Great tasting crepes, in an interesting setting of florished chandeliers, red velvet curtains and huge framed mirrors. The garlic pommes frites is wonderful!

The One Bad Dish

Do Not get the POULET FLORENTINE.. the “bed of spinach” is actually a huge heap of frozen spinach that took a swim in boiling water.

French Crepe Restaurant... Better than Paris

At La Creperie Cafe, my cravings for sweet & savory crêpes, homey bistro, and cute artsy decor is SATISFIED. Plus, it beat the crêpe restaurants I’ve tried in France. There are some traditional entrees; but the menu offers some unconventional innovative goodies that keeps luring me to revisit. Plus, everything is affordable

For the savory crêpes, they do offer Lunch prices (accompanied with a salad) from 11am to 3pm on weekdays only. It will save you $2+. There are also some lunch specials on their sandwiches & pastas. The portions are the same. What a deal!

For the sweet crêpes, you can choose to make it a la mode (a generous scoopful of vanilla ice cream) for an additional $1.95

When you drop by for dinner on a busy weekend, make sure you have reservations. The venue is small, and seats get filled fast. Don’t worry, it’s worth it. The food’s great, you feel like you’re in a French movie, and there may be a live band (saxophone & piano, at one of my visits)

Don’t forget to take a walk down 2nd street to digest your food. Belmont shores offers some cutesy boutiques, and a Pinkberry at the end of the block =)

Bananas flambe in rum with butter and brown sugar, topped with vanilla ice-cream.. it’s a bit too sweet, but wonderful if you’re full and want to share a dessert

perfect balance with the chorizo sausage, potatoes & egg. make sure to ask for extra salsa =)

typical chicken panini with a garlicy Ceasar dressing. A bit plain but perfect for lunch
