Citrus at Social brings a fresh and vibrant restaurant design to Social Hollywood. The new California-French menu is the culinary creation of Michel Richard, emphasizing fresh local ingredients with a distinct European sensibility. Chosen by the James Beard Foundation as Outstanding Chef 2007, Richard is recognized for his Citrus concept as well as the elegant Citronelle in Santa Barbara, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Tokyo and Bistro M in San Francisco. Richard’s former flagship Citrus on Melrose Avenue (voted best restaurant in America by Traveler's magazine) fully established him as a pioneer in Cali-French cuisine. Best Mac & Cheese
i know, it’s a restaurant/ lounge with limited menu servicing Hollywood.. but surprisingly, they have top notch mac n cheese. i revisited it twice for that heavenly gooey-ness. so, i’ve been able to sample most of their menu. sides are ordered separately, but i highly recommend you do so.. my top choices being the Mac n cheese (of course), and creamed spinach.
thumbs up to their complimentary “bread”.. which is actually a basket of crackers, breadsticks, and such.. served with hummus for dipping. Mmm~
also, the bathroom stalls are made of glass. but frosted in such that you can’t “really” see inside. haha. what a trip
the cons are the same for all other hollywood restaurants.. the pricey valet, the traffic, the shi-shi-ness. but most girls love this type of place.

interesting.. the chicken breaast is actually stuffed. you also get some couscous.. Yayyy!

nothing spectacular here. i bumped up a star since it comes with artichokes

This is way too much of the same flavoring for one person. But a great dish if you’re going to share.
