Great pasta and a even better price. Stop at the ATM before you come though, they only take cash. The set-up is very diner-like as the kitchen is behind the counter (which adds to the fun). The food is very good and comes quick. Wine is severed old skool in juice glasses and the servers move quickly from one customer to the next.

Much Better this Time Around

My follow-up review for this restaurant. Read my previous review for this restaurant here

I went back here with my co-workers and the service was much better this time. I think if it weren’t so hard to find parking and the uncomfortable tables, I would give it 5 stars b/c the food is so good.

What I ate:

This was VERY good. It’s not normally on the menu but I’ve tried two of their daily special risottos and I haven’t been disappointed.

This is by far the BEST homemade gnocchi I’ve had. It’s the lightest and fluffiest gnocchi and the heavier gorgonzola sauce is the perfect complement.

Extras:
I came here for
fun with friends
My meal cost
between $10 and $25
I tipped
more than 18%

Great spot, great food but.....

This is a decent Lincoln Park Italian eatery. The pastas are very good, the sangrias are tasty, but beware, it is cash only.

The size of the place is small. When I say small, I mean small. Since this is a small place, I normally see one person waiting on the entire restaurant which isn’t a big deal until the place is packed and the waiter cannot take your order in a timely fashion. Additionally there’s very little privacy when you’re seated on a long table with other eaters.

The portion size is huge. The rigatoni was perfectly al dente. The tomato cream sauce was slightly heavy but overall this dish was good.
