Wonderful!

I’ve been coming to Brigs Restaurant for years and I’ve never had a bad meal. Ever. The food is delicious and the staff is just lovely. They’re cordial, helpful, and they genuinely want to give you a great experience. The restaurant itself is constantly changing its decor, but its alwasy extremely tasteful and artistic. I especially like the elegant mirrors located in one of the dining areas. I checked online, and the highest price for a meal is 12 dollars, which is extremely reasonable. Its won a bunch of awards for Best Breakfast, but they’re also open for dinner. You can get any meal from the menu anytime during the day, so it doesn’t even matter. Breakfast for dinner? No problemo! The food itself? Tasty! Tasty! I try to get something different everytime I’m in there, and so far I’ve tried(and loved) their pancakes, waffles, burgers, waldorf, broccoli, and grilled chicken salad. They’ve also got excellent omelettes and they’‘ve also got the Strawberry shortcake, which has a mountain of whip cream and ice cream! I love this place! I don’t know of any place that does a better job at leaving me feeling satisfied.

Croissants from awesome

Eating at Brig’s is like eating in the diningroom of someone you might not like, but nevertheless is an awesome fucking cook. The décor is pretty shitty – floral wallpaper and tacky tablecloths, but the food is top notch. I mostly only get breakfast-type stuff here like chocolate chip pancakes or club croissants. The hash browns are great, the fruit is always fresh, they give you huge carafes (that’s fancy for bigass bottle) of orange juice. I really can’t say enough good things about the food there. Probably my favorite thing, overall, is the banana-nut muffins. They may make the fucking things from a box or buy them from Otis Spunkmeyer for all I fucking care. All I know is that they make my stomach sing praises to Jesus.

Sidenote: stay away from the Brig’s near the 55/54 crossing in Durham. That one is kind of shitty. The one in Cary in the stripmall near Blockbuster is the one you want. It’s the one you need.
