Great Coffee
I personally think Caribou is much better that Starbucks. I feel like Caribou really bring our the flavor in their coffee. They serve them cold, hot, warm, and even smoothies. Sadly, they do not sell food. Also, Caribou has free Wi-Fi so it’s great if you want to drink some coffee and surf the web. Caribou is quite small but I like it that way. Sometimes Caribou is combined into a grocery store. Sometimes a restaurant. I love how they stuff your coffee full of whip cream if you wish. And they drizzle cameral all over it. It’s delicious. Caribou is very busy during the Winter AND Summer. That’s because they have all drinks of some sort that will fit they weather perfectly. So I highly recommend this restaurant. I hope that you love Caribou as much as I do.
Dishes I tried:
Coffee Cooler
If it’s a hot day and you want something slightly sweet but still bitter. I recommend this drink. It’s chilled coffee topped with whip cream with drizzled caramel. How could you resist?

Yummy Soups
I mainly like Bruegger’s for their soups. I think that the noodles in the soups are a bit weird but it’s still good. Bruegger’s mainly is all about Bagels. There are plenty more to get there like salads, sandwiches, and a lot more. They serve bagels of many different kinds. Poppy seed, cinnamon, plain. Any way you want it. Their salads come in a giant narrow bowl. This can be frustrating sometimes when it comes to mixing the sauce in. But it’s a whole lot of salad.
Dishes I tried:
Chicken Noodle Soup
Cold Winter? Come on down to Bruegger’s! Their Chicken Noodle Soup is warm and toasty. Really soothes you and calms you. Plenty of vegetables, and noodles, and chicken.

Fresh, Cold Ice Cream
I don’t believe that The Village Scoop is better than Cold Stone but I feel like they have fresher ice cream. It’s very chilly and the taste has a lot more emphasis. They really bring out the texture. Sometimes it’s so cold that it kinda burns your teeth with coldness. Haven’t you ever had that feeling before? Where it’s so cold when it touches your teeth that you want to pull back away from it? Kinda feels like that when you eat it. They give you large amounts of ice cream for a very cheap price too. I remember I couldn’t eat it all yet I paid less than three bucks. And usually I can eat a lot.
Dishes I tried:
Oreo
I love oreos and this dish is very delicious. There are mountains of black icebergs just floating in this pile of ice cream. Irresistible. I love this dish. I highly recommend it.

Family Fun
Panino’s isn’t exactly a place where you eat alone. It’s all about fun with your family and friends. They have a lot of food to choose from. I remember that I would love their salads. Their salads are very different from others. They have big pieces of bacon, the have thin, small slices of turkey mixed in there. They have their own secret sauce. It’s very good. Panino’s is supposed to resemble an old restaurant made from bricks that looks like it has been made thirty years ago. Also, in Panino’s, they have a bar attached to it. So if you want to hang out at a bar, you can visit Panino’s.
Dishes I tried:
Mud Pie
I just adore oreos. Panino’s makes the best mud pie ever! It’s a slice of pie with ice cream and oreos sprinkled on it. It’s 50% made from oreos. They stuff it in there. They drizzle syrup all over it. After eating, it looks like a dirty mud puddle.

Simple Fast Food Restaurant
Dairy Queen is a small fast food restaurant. If you are in a hurry, it’s best if you quickly go to Dairy Queen for a quick burger to go. Their burgers aren’t that complex and they are quite small. But, so are the prices. I think that their onion rings are very crunchy and thick. When you bite into it, you can see a lot of onion in there. Dairy Queen is also about ice cream. Their ice cream is very soft and creamy. If you like real, hard, and genuine ice cream, you shouldn’t order here. But if your hot and sweaty and you want something to cool yourself down, Dairy Queen is okay for that.
Dishes I tried:
Onion Rings
Their onion rings are crunchy, thick, and pack a lot of onion. You could smell these things twenty feet away. Their stench if very strong. But I love onion rings so I do not care one bit.

11/17/2008I miss Caribou. They don’t have them out in CA. I used to go to them all the time when I lived in Chicago.
