Koi or I Luv Sushi

Koi at 600 Seal Beach Blvd or for the practical economical “I Luv Sushi” on Carson across from Walmart will blow this places doors off. Best thing believe it or not about Kinokawa is the salad dressing. The fish and especially Ankimo sashimi at Koi is unbeatable. $7 pitcher of Kirin at I Luv Sushi is hard to top. Your experience at Kinokawa can go either way usually it’s at least acceptable. Why should you listen to me??? Cause I’m getting old and all I do is sample restaurants. If you want your moneys worth my advice is the direct route without learning the hard way. The top rated Yelp place on Stearns (Kinoya) isn’t worth it either they will sting you price wise, they list specials with no price and when the bill comes you could be suprised although the place is above average food and service Koi at the same price or slightly less will top them by quite a bit. Bon Apetit.

The very best thing about this place because of the dressing.

This place is consistantly excellent

Yea I’m old and really picky and over a 3 year span I never had a bad experience here with service or food. The lady that owns it is so adorable you’re gonna loose your heart on top of everything else. And no that isn’t why the review looks this way. Hope it’s the same for all.

exquisite to say the least no one even close in all of Los Angeles that I have sampled and I haven’t eaten at home in over 9 years. (single and gettin old). There is a dish with scallops shrimp and asparagus that is also addictive ask for that one if you like those items and you’ll be in temporary heaven the way I always am. It’s a rough business and Lisa makes it look easy.
