Engaging Evening

I took my (now) husband here to propose to him. That was almost five years ago. Guessing from the other rating this place received, I would believe they are just as good now as they were then. The food was fabulous. I don’t like fish and my husband won’t even try mushrooms normally. However, at this restaurant, I would actually order fish and my husband would order mushrooms because they have a way of making everything taste fabulous regardless. The wait staff are decently attentive without smothering or interferring and they are willing to go out of their way to deliver roses to a table at the exact right moment. My husband still gushes over the wine list. I have heard this has been reduced, but I trust they would still keep the ‘creme de la creme’ offerings. Oh – their desserts are sinful, so eat at your own risk.

Tasty and Reasonable

The food is well prepared, simple Mediterranean style fare at reasonable pricing. Two can have dinner there for an average cost of $30.00. The not terribly extensive menu offers items such as hummus, babba ganouch and fatouche salad. Meals include swarma and kabbobs. There are some sandwiches and a few North American offerings as well. They do have wine, beer and other alcohol as well as pop, water and the like. This restaurant is definitely better than their prices suggest. However, the service is more according to the pricing as the servers are not exactly attentive, nor fully dismissive. ‘Well, two out of three ain’t bad’ – Meatloaf. Happy eating.

What I ate:

Cucumbers, tomotoes, red onion, crispy pita bits and a lemony mint vinegarette. Healthy, tasty and worth it.
