Good Atmosphere
On my last visit to Tickles we just did bar food and drinks. I guess there’s not much I can review regarding our chicken strip plate, but it was filling and not too shabby. I have a soft spot for a fried food.
The great thing about this place is the staff and the atmosphere. The tiny bar is tucked away in a remote corner of NE Minneapolis and has a very adorable appeal. High top tables are surrounded by candle light and during most evenings there is live music. Come to play a game or two of pool or hang out at the bar.
Specialty drinks are reasonable, about 8-10 bucks a pop and parking is pretty easy to be find. Our ‘meal’ was a whopping 7 dollars and well worth it! Don’t know if this would become my local hang, but I wouldn’t mind going back for another visit sometime soon.

07/10/2009Oklahoma Joe’s BBQ is on Anthony Boudrain’s list of 10 places to eat before you die. For something more upscale, try Extra Virgin in the KC Crossroads District. Marvelous!!!
