The drinks are modestly priced, and the burgers are awesome. I believe them to be better than Rocky’s, and may be competetive with the Liar’s club, however Nunu’s satisfies a hunger for a more traditional flavored burger.

This place has awesome burgers at good prices along with a huge selection of microbrews and local San Diego Brews. Friday night is $2 pints on all local brews. the burgers are huge and feature generous toppings and the meat is seasoned with a unique sweetness that isn’t too sweet but makes it delicious. Burgers are actually cooked to order—rare still has some red. The place comes with some warnings, Friday night you may be standing to eat, the staff is friendly, but so busy that the service can be perceived to suck, and don’t look at the kitchen while they prepare your food. Ignorance is bliss. Despite is downsides, I’m there all the time.
