Roman Pizza Ristorante
Jul 16, 2008
Best Pizza Around!!
Owned & operated by a transplanted Roman, this place has the most amazing, AUTHENTIC Italian food I have ever had! The pizza is hands down the best in town (tough in a college town with more pizza joints per square mile then any other enterprise). The sauce & dough are handmade daily, which is quite evident at first bite. IF you can grab one of the home made meatballs you won’t be sorry. These puppies are nearly the size of a baseball and are incredible.
I eat here every chance I get. Wouldn’t dream of getting Italian anywhere else in town. Staff is friendly & chatty and will bend over backwards to make you happy.

Pizza
BEST PIZZA EVER! Handmade daily dough AND sauce make an incredible combination. Dough is just perfect & the round Sicilian is unlie anything I have tried at any other pizza joint
-
Meatball Sub
AMAZING! The meatballs are homemade with something like 17 different ingredients. Marinaria is also homemade and delicious on its own. The meatballs themselves are nearly the size of a baseball each. If there are any left when you get there you MUST try them!

Pasta w/ Vodka Sauce
Like everything else in this place the sauce is handmade daily. The portion is enough for 2 – 3 VERY HUNGRY adults and INCREDIBLY delicious! Definately a must try

Good Tasting But Hours of Misery Following
I have eaten here 3 times and have ended up awfully sick following each time. The food TASTES good, but the after-effects aren’t worth it. I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, but come on! THREE times? No coincidence. Others have reported the same experience to me as I have had.

Yo Tofu Soup
Made me sick for hours afterwards.
-
Vegetable Tempura
Made me very sick! Also very small portion for the price

Best Authentic Chinese ANYWHERE
I have eaten here a half dozen or more times. The chef is an award-winning genius & the food is VERY authentic – something most Americans are not used to but definately should try.
The BEST part of the menu are the Szechuan entries. HUGE fan of Spicy Vegetable Dumplings, Grilled Spicy Pepper & Potatoes with Green Pepper. The Noodle Soups are great too. Portions are decent to large & the prices are good for the area.

Noodle Soup
HUGE, great broth, generous amount of veggies

Spicy Vegetable Dumplings
A reason to come here all on its own. Best I’ve ever had – even compared to Philly’s Chinatown this one wins hands down.
