I enjoyed their crispy chicken dish and their seafood with fried noodles. Not exactly high end choices but the quality was pretty good.

The first authentic pinoy restaurant in Richmond serving hot food with dish variety. I tried it today and had beef menudo and kare kare. The kare kare was a little bland but the menudo was delicious. The decor is stripped down and homely, reminds me a lot of the simple throwback lifestyle in the Philippines. Two dishes with rice go for $5.50 and one dish is $4.75. Halo Halo is $3.50. The staff are friendly and genial. Aling Mary is located in the heart of downtown Richmond BC on Park Road near Richmond Center. Now, there’s no reason to drive into Vancouver for good pinoy food anymore. This is a welcome addition to the Richmond ethnic food scene that has been long overdue.

Fairly decent Japanese fare. Parking is a nightmare for dinner though. Lunch Box D is comfort food for me.

The only Singaporean Malaysian restaurant that I go to when I just want comfort food. Tropika’s good too but I don’t always want to splash out for it.
