Great italian food in a cosy atmosphere. Located in hip Yorkville, and upstairs from Sotto Sotto, it has it all, great food, great view of Avenue Road and good service. Just be sure to bring a big appetitie, the portions are huge!

I can see why all the stars come here. The food is amazing and the ambience cozy. Be prepared to eat a lot as the portions are generous. I wasn’t thrilled with the stale bruschetta that they brought to the table when you are seated but the grilled mushrooms in truffle oil appetizer was just right as was the papparadelle in mushroom and white wine sauce. The service was friendly and attentive, all in all a great dining experience.

Probably more 3.5 out of 5. The steak tartar was not as good as I remembered from a previous drug company-sponsored dinner. Still, great service in the private “bakery” and excellent scallop/cod entree. My friend’s marrow appetizer was super rich but really good. Unfortunately, many of the good items on the menu were unavailable today!
