I hope it's still there - it's not. The building has been demolished. Sigh
Located across Harwood from the old city hall, Gus’s serves some of the best Bar-b-que in town. There’s not much more on the menu, and seating is limited, but it’s worth it to squeeze into one of those wooden school chairs and savor a beef or ham sandwich. The sign over the door is misspelled (Gu’s) and the pictures on the wall of Greece are old and faded, but if you are in downtown Dallas, you could do a lot worse than to have lunch here.

Sliced brisket sandwich
The only thing that keeps this sandwich short of perfection is the aluminum foil wrapper instead of butcher paper.
