Darkly lit, packed and noisy-but suprisingly good service. Food seemed good, drinks good. Bill was hard to swallow though. This paticular location in the AMC is almost always packed and full of young people.

I always passed this place by thinking it was a shi-shi fine-dining restaurant. But no! The inside is huge, a patio (raved as one of the best), a large inside dining area, a bar area, a comedy/live music area in the back and a pool hall upstairs. Nice laid-back atmosphere with black and white photos of various bands and jazz musicians. Italian and normal food, large assortment of booze and wine…must be booming at night.

You’ll never see anything like it. The weirdest, ugliest decor I’ve ever seen. A college favorite with an extremely cheap (but eclectic and tasty) menu. Boozing here is fun. Spacious and very laid-back.

I hear stories about rats running over tables and shoes here…I can believe it. Dirty, dingy and much loved. Listen to bands or go in for a hangover special..I wouldn’t really go in for anything else though (!) Best for younger people.

Excellent service but something was lacking. Didn’t feel very welcoming. A recording of Wayne Gretzky’s voice in the washrooms kind of creeped me out. Ordered the homemade perogies that were supposed to be his grandmother’s secret recipe and it tasted like shit. A little self-absorbed in general.

Nice attempt at a vegan restaurant, but, no. No flavor. Small space and an awkward location leads to me believe it won’t last very long. It also took almost a year to open which is always a bad sign.

Extremely trendy/uppity diner. I wasn’t impressed. Boring menu, pretentious feel, stuck-up waitors…I don’t get it.

Nice for breakfast. Huge portions-and lots of choices. Food looks appealing when it arrives too. Place is always packed and crammed which might not appeal to some. Just get there early.

Cool little thai place that serves alcohol. Yummy food, just a good hangover-Sunday kind of place.
