Shazam !
I’ve been to Emilio’s a bunch of time and always got a slice topped with all kinds of thing from anchovies to pineapples, But last night I use delivery option and decided to try one of the dinners. It was delivered in approx. 20 min. When I open my aluminum plate is was quite picturesque. Then as soon as I tasted a piece that was the moment I said “SHAZAM” by far the best Cordon Bleu I ever had. So If you are ever in Morris Park in the Bronx stop by Emilio’s and try one of the dinners. Fine Italian cuisine in a pizza shop at pizza shop prices.

Weekend Buffet
East Tremont Buffet is my favorite Chinese restaurant is the Bronx. Great ambiance as long as you don’t mind St. Raymond cemetery across the street. First time I was there was for a lunch meeting with a great friend Larry. Two days latter I took my parents and they loved it. Now I frequent the place like a ritual. On the weekends they run a big indoor grill impressive in size. Grilling New York steak and BBQ ribs. The rest of the week is one dollar cheaper WOW. Sushi bar, Soup bar and all the Chinese & American favorites all the time! I love the general tsao chicken the wife goes for the crab legs dad goes for the roast beef or leg of lamb and mom goes for the lo mein. For desert there is a wide variety of fruits, pastries and ice cream. As soon as you come in there is always some one ready to seat you they take your drinks order then you get up to start feasting. Waiters are quit to remove empty plate and the manger Steve floats around saying “Eat More”. Just about every time I’m there someone is having a birthday. An excellent place to bring the family. Great price and great food who could ask for anything more?

Just Plain Nasty
I tried it 3 times and 3 times it sucked steak was burnt and rubbery the mofongo was old and the soup was cold. It was NOT borsch why was the soup cold? The service was extremely slow I waited for over an hour for bad food and I was with my mother and sister. Quite an embarrassment they want some Spanish food and I take them to the slum of the earth. It was conveniently close to my place and they serve tons of rice which wasn’t so good either. I hope they don’t stay around too long, Cause they really suck
Dishes I tried:
Pork Mofongo
No Pork, Old nasty pork fat and the plantain was sitting around for a while cause it was cold. Stay home and eat something else

Anytime of Day
I’ve been going to the Rainbow Diner 16 years and tried just about everything in the menu but my personal favorite is a Phily chesse steak, fries and a large bowl of soup.
Open 24 hours is a big plus for me. Where else am I going to find a tuna melt at 3:45am? Located right under the Pelham Parkway train stain No 2 line. Very convinent location. Completely renovated a few years ago and the 46 inch television is nice too.
Dishes I tried:
PHILADELPHIA CHEESE STEAK
It’s one of my favorites

Boogie Down Steak for $6 Bucks
With the economy wrecking havoc, this is the spot pizza is good and cheap (in price). I’ve been going to Bona Pizza for years. You have to try the sirloin steak served with sautéed mushrooms and onions on the side salad and baked potato (sour cream in a little cup) and two garlic knots for just six bucks. Delicious on the tummy and light on the wallet.

Come Hungry!!
Why decide between Steak, Pork and Shrimps when you can have all three. Saborlatinonyc is the best of both worlds the merged Spanish & Chinese. You can have any Spanish style meal or any Chinese style meal and either one would be just divine. Chinese waiters are all trilingual Chinese, English and Spanish. The place is just a wonderful experience and the prices can’t be beat!
I think I’m going there right now!
Dishes I tried:
Steak and Tostones
Just awesome!
But don’t take my word for it! It’s very inexpensive and if you happen to be by Parkchester & Castle Hill try for yourself you won’t regret it. Try the stuffed clams too…..yum. I always get them when I go There
