Miro Spanish Grille

Nov 1, 2006 Link

Delicious continental Spanish Food

Excellent food off a continental Spanish menu. Lactose free rating was “Ed Safe” – lots of dairy free items to choose from, and all delicious. There is a strong seafood influence as you would expect. High quality ingredients, great service.

Tapas lovers can make a full meal from two or three unique appetizers.

What I ate:
  • ****

Vibrant flavors. perfectly cooked lamb. Their rice is fantastic.

  • *****

Succulent shrimp sauteed perfectly in garlic and oil. Just like my grandmother used to make!

Extras:
I came here for
fun with friends
My meal cost
between $25 and $50
I tipped
between 15% to 18%

Siam Garden Thai Restaurant

Thai one on!!

This is old world food in a new complex. The Thai dishes are authentic and can be sweet or as firey as you can stand it.

The curries are fantastic with our favorites being the Red and the Gang Masaman. The Pad Thai is so good we have started ordering one (or two(or three)) for the table to share on top of our meals.

Lunches come with a bowl of the soup of the day and a veggie spring roll. Portions are great.

You select the heat of your dishes by how many stars you want. No stars – great flavor, no heat, to 5 stars – your face melts off. I generally go with friends from work who love hot food. But even these spice junkies stay away from the 5 stars. Except for our Indian contingent who grew up eating hot coals by the look of things.

Dinners are the same great food, just more of it and a wider menu. Some of the unique desserts are fantastic!

Try it, you will not be disappointed.

What I ate:
  • *****

Fantasitc blend of curry and coconut flavors. The potatoes add a heartiness that I don’t find in other curry. I yearn for more!

  • ***

Crispy sweet slices of chicken fried and served with a light honey sauce. A little bland if no heat is requested.

  • *****

In season only. As a lactose free individual, to have something this creamy with no dairy was a rare delight. The mango was perfect.
