I went to this restaurant because I saw it...
I went to this restaurant because I saw it opposite the BJs on New Park Ave, and I thought to myself… “That place does not look like a Thai restaurant, and thus… since it isn’t out of business, it must be good.”
After reading some positive reviews online, I tried to find an online menu, but was unsuccessful, so we had to order take-out at the restaurant. After ordering, it took about 45-50 minutes for our food to be ready.
I ordered the Penang Duck and my wife the Pad-Se-Ewe. The curry duck was great. Maybe a little too spicy for my taste, but the duck was tender and not too salty. The Pad-Se-Ewe on the other hand wasn’t that great. They weren’t that flavorful and the beef was overcooked and slightly chewy.
However, based on the curry, I definitely want to go back and try other dishes, probably to eat at the restaurant and see if things are different “fresh.” I’m expecting my rating to go up, but it’s only 3 stars based on my current experience.
