Abundantly Mediocre
My wife and I recently had dinner here. We had heard about this Spanish Seafood restaurant and were anxious to try it. Sadly, when taken as a whole, the experience was not gratifying.
The service was bizarre – a change of waiters one quarter of the way through our meal; having to ask our new waiter 3 times for a glass of wine; having to request the dinner specials; not being told about other specials until after we ordered; no condiments on the table or offered, and on and on.
As for the entrees, they were way overpriced for what we received. I had a seared tuna, which was dry and tasteless. My wife had a salmon dish which was misrepresented by our waiter and was considerably over-sauced and strongly lacking in taste or any savory element whatsoever. I hate to leave a meal where the best part is the dessert, but this was the case. For $100, the experience was not pleasing. I cannot reccomend or endorse this restaurant. It seemed to fail in every category – service; wait-staff familiarity with the food, and taste. Neither my wife nor I was wowed. Apart from the ceviche appetizer Pacifico is an idea waiting to happen.
