Authentic dishes listed but not necessarily delivered
This restaurant has some surprisingly authentic dishes along with the more commonly known American dishes. then again, you need to ask for the special chinese menu since there are two menus and it seems like they will pre-judge which menu you are more likely to order from. We were happily surprised to find some of these authentic dishes listed and have ordered a variety of them over several visits. Unfortunately the “authentic dishes” seemed to be cooked with more of an american style. The prices are pretty high for what you get and the service is moderate at best. I do not think they have any dim sum options. There are many other Asian restaurants to try before coming back to this one.

Keep On Looking
Unfortunately our experience was not much better than the previous review. From the start, they lost our reservation but they were quick to still get us seated. It was good that we arrived before the dinner rush and a large party showed up (with their reservation).
There was mixed reviews for our food. Some enjoyed their dish but I found the fish overcooked and dry. It was listed as a house specialty so we had higher expectations but since two of us ordered that dish and it came the same way for both of us, it seemed that was the designed recipe and not a fluke. It is better to keep looking for other dining options.

Mediterranean @ Maroosh
We went as a group and had a great evening of food and fun. They checked on us often and allowed us to determine the frequency of the courses.
The regular dinner menu offers a ton of options including a good number of vegetarian options that are not normally offered at other restaurants. There is a group menu option that is not on the regular menu so you need to ask for it. There were 4 group menu options ranging from $25 to $45 per person. We felt #2 gave a good sampling at a reasonable value and it did. Not familiar enough with Lebanese food to know its authenticity but it was good!
Try to go on a night where they have a live belly dancer entertaining the crowd. She had good energy and interacted well with the audience. They knew how to pace the entertainment with the dining experience so that we could enjoy both!

Sheba is closed?
This is a good restaurant but rumor is that they are closed now. If it is still open, it is worth checking out. They used to have a weekend brunch buffet option that was a nice sampling of some of their main dishes. Ethiopian food is primarily vegetarian but they did have some meat dishes. The service was not quite up to par but it there are very limited ethiopian options in Miami. There was weekend entertainment but we went for the buffet brunch.
Be sure to check out if it is still open.

Pass on Peruvian
The restaurant is not a good representation of Peruvian food as reported by a Peruvian friend. The food was nothing special but we found a couple of dessert items that was decent.
We could never catch the waitress even though the place was pretty much empty. The food took forever to arrive and we had to ask several times for anything. And, make sure that there is someone in your group that speaks Spanish because no one who works at the restaurant seem to speak English! Definitely better off looking around for other dining options.

Little Vietnamese Gem
This tiny Vietnamese restaurant can be easily overlooked but it is a little gem when you find it. The prices are reasonable and the food has a really nice freshness to it. There was a limited menu with a handful of appetizers, a small choice of Pho soups and a sampling of noodle dishes but enough to go back several times to sample. The wait staff was very nice and helpful which really adds to the dining experience. This one is definitely worth trying.

Go at Lunchtime for a Better Deal
The pizza and pasta was not bad at all but it was pretty pricey. Definitely skip the overpriced nothing special appetizers. The New York style pizza is a better deal than the dinner Italian dishes. Make sure you know when you are ordering with the lunch vs. dinner prices. Normally the lunch price difference represent smaller portions but a dozen chicken wings at lunch is still a dozen at dinnertime so not sure why it cost more for dinner? Lesson to learn is to go at lunchtime.
They do deliver but there is a fee. What ever happened to the “no delivery charge”?

Average Dim Sum even for Miami
We only went for the dim sum and not the full Chinese dining menu so can only rate based on the dim sum. There was a large selection of dim sum but some of the selections were not quite as authentic as others. It was a little difficult to find any dim sum items without pork or other meats in it but we found a few for the vegetarian in the group. The overall price was around $20 per person and we got a ton of food including shrimp and higher priced dishes. The food itself was average by Miami standards which is actually fairly low compared to New York or Chicago. I will continue to search for good dim sum around Miami and will probably need to start looking around Broward soon!

Reviews
You find this little cafe/restaurant in the middle of the grocery store. If you walk around the perimeter of the store, you may miss it.
It is tough to make a selection from the limited buffet line since the food is not well-presented. The staff does not seem to be focused on actual customer service either. However, it can all be overlooked if the food is top notch but it seems that this place had good food at one point but the food seems to have taken a step downhill. I read some reviews on other sites and it seems everyone agrees that the food is now lacking.
Better bet is to buy the food and prepare it at home.

Romanian buffet is worth sampling
There is a nice buffet on Sundays to get a nice sampling of the different Romanian options. Romanian food bears the same influences as the rest of Romanian culture. There is Turkish, Greek, Austrian, etc. influences to the recipes but there is always a characteristic Romanian taste.
The chef gave a little intro to the different dishes and pointed out which were the more traditional Romanian dishes and which were other more traditionally considered european dishes. The buffet was a nice variety of food with some interesting flavors. It is worth sampling.
