i was attracted to this place cuz the sopranos and a scene from a beautiful mind was filmed here… but I think i overhyped it to myself.

pros – ambiance, helpful waitors, good date spot

cons – portions, only takes cash

definitely order the avocado brushetta – an off menu item. and ask about their specials cuz their menu selection isnt’ that big.

Their menu selection isn’t that big, but definitely get the mac and cheese dish. Everyone was eating off of my dish instead of theirs b/c it’s that good. Overall, it’s just ok.

As good as cupcakes can be… I didn’t see the red velvet or the other specialized cupcakes, but they’re located on the other side of the bakery. The regular cupcakes are ok, but it’s always so crowded. There’s a line just to be able to go in and browse around b/c it’s that small. But I would go again… I just wish it was bigger and they had places to sit and enjoy the cupcakes.

I’m not a big fan of rice pudding, but it’s good here. It’s a fun place to go to and their packaging is so cute. The signs they have up are witty and funny.

Definitely became more popular after the movie, Hitch.

A little pricey for cupcakes… but they are good. I went to the one in newport beach, which wasn’t that crowded. They have different types of cupcakes available each day. Their red velvet was ok and their lemon coconut is pretty good.

But like I said, a lil too pricey for my taste just for cupcakes.

Parking is a mess here. I swear, I circled around for so long and they don’t start valeting til 5 PM. That’s my excuse for the 3 stars.

Other than that, their french onion soup is pretty damn good. So is their french dip and salads. Everything is pretty healthy here, but good.

Every time I go to Laguna Beach, I crave food from this restaurant. The view is amazing… regardless if you are, you always feel like you’re on vacation whenever you eat here because of the view of the beach.

The service is great and everything on the menu is good.

seriously, the pizza is so freakin gooood. i went during the day when it wasn’t crowded at all, but i think i’m going to try the garden city location in long island.

pizza isn’t your typical slice. first, you can’t order by the slice anyway and the brooklyn location only takes cash. the pizza has real mozzarella cheese on it. yum yum.

the decor/ambiance is nice… portions are not that big, but what do u expect from a japanese restaurant. the one in tribeca is really nice. good for big groups / special occasions.

the waitors actually help you order, so if you look at the menu and don’t know what you want … your waitor will take care of you.

fresh fish and chips. also serves beer too.

downside is limited seating. but it’s a hole in the wall place and i did see a park down the street. the bench outside seats 4 and the seating inside is at max 6? so be prepared to know that.
