This is one of my favorites for lunch – it’s a bit on the tiny side as far as seating goes, but the food is outstanding. My personal favorites are the Pollo Marinito (sp?) and the Minestrone. But the Tuna Salad and bread with oil/parmesean are great too. The frendly service is another bonus.

great mexican – more on the ‘gourmet’ side than your traditional place. fun, lively atmosphere and usually not too long of a wait. try the ‘plato gordo’ if you feel adventurous, my favorite item is the jalepeno and bacon wrapped shrimp!

my favorite Thai restaurant – the food is great (pad thai, thai bami, spring rolls, fried rice) and it’s never crowded! most people seem to come for a leisurely lunch or get their food to go… beware, sometimes take out can take a while since so many locals call ahead for it.

one of the best steakhouses i’ve been to (another great calamari appetizer) – and very classy atmosphere… the decor is a bit over the top, but in a good way (dark and sophistocated). the wine list was great too – there was so much to choose from, we can’t wait to go back. it was a great date night.

We had another great meal here – this time on NYE with 2 other couples. Our calamari was cooked perfectly and the spicy aioli added a nice kick. For dinner I tried the chicken giardiniera and it was heavenly! Pounded thin, breaded and cooked to a juicy tendernss… I loved the spicy pickled veggies on top (we fought over the leftovers the next day). It was a simple dish, but wonderfully flavored. I complimented my chicken with a delightful side salad – full of hearty croutons, delicious olives, earthy chickpeas and accompanied with a great dressing. This time I tried a trio of Italian Ices instead of a glass of wine – they were a delightful treat! My ‘flight’ consisted of limon, sangria & amaretto – the limon was my favorite! The only slight draw back I can think of was that there was a little bit of a wait (even with our reservations) and the main dining area was a bit crowded – but that’s pretty much expected on NYE!

great italian food – I loved pre-dinner bread and oil and my lasagna was outstanding! it was flavorful but not overpowering – the tomatos, pasta and ricotta tasted so fresh… another restaurant we want to visit again soon.

the chicken teriyaki was great and the combo meal came with delicious golden shrimp (so rich!) and a california roll. you also get soup and salad with your meal – good luck trying to finish everything! i love the look of the restaurant, though the “show” can be a bit loud so it’s not the most conversation friendly.

i love this restaurant – it’s casual, yet trendy and doesn’t have the typical “chain” food. the appletini’s are great too! it’s perfect for a date night or a girl’s night out…
