Why is Burma a Superstar?
Okay… I’ve heard a lot about this restaurant and if you ever drive by Clement, there’s always a line. I think its the nostalgia that this is going to be a one of a kind food find or because the wait is normally about 1-2 hours, but this place is always getting great reviews!
My quick 2 cents and advice… show up put your name down on the waiting list with your cell phone #. Head to Q’s for a glass of wine or walk up to the Bitter End for a pint. They will call you when they are ready. Try it once but not something I would call Super nor a Superstar.
Dishes I tried:
Rainbow Salad
Interesting… a bunch of ingredients thrown together to form one unique experience.
Vegetarian Samusa Soup
Not my cup tea…. I
Beef Kebat
Great… Must eat with rice…

King of Thai on Clement (Between 4th and 5th)
Great hole in wall… Come all the time for the late night eat… Why go to Denny’s or Mel’s when you can get a plate of noodles or rice. Out of the 7 other King of Thai, I would rate this one number 1.
Dishes I tried:
#17 with ground pork
Must have… Better then all the rest
#21 with ground pork and a fried egg
Can’t beat it… Something from the steets of Thailand.

All time favortie!!!
Been there twice and can’t wait to go again. The service is top notch, informative and not snooty. Don’t be shy to ask questions, they are willing to help (learn and enjory). 5-course is the way to go but it can be too much food. Only downfall, I hope there menu changes when I go again.
