Fantastic restaurant
I went to Trio for the first time with a large group of people. They were very busy but still catered to our every need! (We had some picky people at our table :)
A few of us ordered pizza – thin crust, wood fired and the best pizza in Toronto, hands down! The gnocchi was melt in your mouth delicious – definitely hand made. All the meals were fantastic – even the picky people in our group were happy! The staff were friendly and prompt and made our group feel at home. Oh – and the tiramisu was to die for!! A must try.
I would reccomend this restaurant to anyone who wants the real italian cuisine, in a warm and friendly atmosphere!
Dishes I tried:
pizza - any kind!
Best pizza ever! Thin crust – whole wheat and wood fired. Not too heavy and just like the kind you get in Italy.
gnocchi
melt in your mouth. I have had gnocchi many times before and have felt it is too heavy and chewy. This stuff is definitely home made and fresh!
