The Spicy Noodles and the Squid Salad are the best!

Great lunch take-out spot near Grand Central. A good variety of rolls and cold appetizers as well as bento boxes.

The restaurant has changed owners and now called Park Avenue (season). The place was packed when we went on a rainy Tues evening. The dishes used very fresh ingredients and heirloom tomatoes were the special the day we went. The softshell crab appetizer was awesome. But you need to go before the summer ends or the place will become Park Avenue Autumn!

Cute little French cafe for brunch – $14.95 and you get to select from a menu of brunch favorites and it includes a glass of OJ and either coffee or tea. Sitting outside on a sunny day is great as the neighborhood is pretty quiet.

The desserts were innovative, but way too non-mainstream for my taste. I got the 3 dessert tasting menu, and the first course was goat cheesecake with berries. Second course was miso tiramisu (which was both salty and sweet). Third course was a chocolate mousse with some salty toppings… I guess if you are in the mood for some very creative pairings, it’s definitely a great spot.

This place has awesome sichuan food that can’t be found in Manhattan Chinatown. Definitely try to go with a group so you can try more dishes. The Ma Po tofu as well as the dan dan noodles were really good.

Very fresh fish and not very expensive at all at this traditional sushi restaurant.

Best place for a heavy brunch if you’re hungry (or even if you’re not)! Very creative variations on classic brunch favorites.

The food at Sushi of Gari might be reviewed to be better, but I like the space at Gari much better given it’s a bigger restaurant that feels less cramped. I feel that the food is about the same at both places…very creative and original tastes. Must get the tasting menu or the chef’s sushi tasting

The ambience of this restaurant was great. Sit in the lounge instead of the main dining room because it’s a lot cozier and you get to sit on couches. Boulud even came out himself to say hi to all of us!
