CinCin is an upscale Italian restaurant located in main Robson Street shopping area. I ate their just this weekend again, and must say that they continue to impress me with their selection, service, and well pretty much everything.

Price: 5/5 – Let’s be real here. Excellent food costs a lot of $$$. Food: 5/5 – The Lobster Pasta was amazing! Wine: 5/5 – A great selection including many boutique wines. Service: 5/5 – Our waiter was excellent, taking great care of our needs. He also had a great knowledge of the menu too. Ambience: 5/5 – Traditional but not stuffy. Everything was extremely clean and organized.

This award winning French restaurant is located in the Wedgewood Hotel (which I used to work at a long time ago) in the heart of downtown Vancouver. The is the restaurant that is not only known for its excellent food and service but the richly decorated dining environment. The excellent food is available with an extensive selection of wines from the world’s best vineyards.

If you have money burning a hole in your pocket, C Restaurant is great place to part with your cash! This is an expensive restaurant with a complete dinner for two costing almost $200. But if you can afford it, it is worth it. This is a different type of seafood restaurant combining not only westcoast but international flavours. They have a great oyster bar too. Most memorable dish would have to be the butter-poached lobster with pan-seared foie gras.

This restaurant in located right in Stanley Park in a converted large old house. The food and service are exceptional. If you love fish try their smoked alaskan black cod, one of my family’s favorites.

This is one restaurant that is very difficult to find. It is located near the north end of Victoria Drive by the commercial loading pier. But once you find it, it is a true delight. This rustically decorated restaurant offers an awesome view of downtown Vancouver and the Burrard Inlet. The Cannery offers an extremely large variety of fresh seafood. If you love fish and a love to be surrounded in a “fish troller” atmosphere, this is one place you have got to visit; just remember to bring a map!

If it is red meat you’re after then this is the place for you. One of the best if not the best steak houses in Vancouver, located in Sinclair Centre. A little pricey but you do get what you pay for. Make mine a blue rare porterhouse steak!

I have been frequenting this restaurant for as long as I can remember. The food is always excellent at a good price too. I especially love their yu-din-kai (fried chicken with soya sauce) and their siu-long-pau (steamed dumplings).

Danny and Joyce the proprietors of this restaurant used to also have a restaurant in Times Square called the Canton Wun Tun House. I have been eating there since that restaurant opened over 20 years ago. It was one of the first Chinese restaurants in Richmond. Danny’s has now replaced it and is located in the Ironwood Plaza. A great family restaurant.

West is one of the best in Vancouver. The restaurant is a mix of French and Westcoast cuisine. Excellent food and service, and extensive wine list as well. Get there early before 6pm) to enjoy their three course Prix Fixe for $45.

This is one of my wife’s favorite restaurants. It is close to her work and whenever I visit to take her to lunch this is where she likes to go. The lunch menu is good with lots of variety and specials. Service and food are both very good.
