Craft is one of the best restaurants in the city… I recently went with 4 other friends and ordered a variety of dishes, some of my favorites were: braised short ribs, pureed potatoes, fresh bacon with yogurt and corn pancetta risotto

The best katsu in new york city! Go before 12 noon to avoid the lunch rush… I recommend the curry tenderloin katsu.

The best thai for in ny! really good value for the quality you get. some of my favorites – green curry with duck, drunken noodles, fried whole fish with chili and basil, coconut ice cream in a whole coconut.

The best tapas place in the city. I love the chorizo con chocolate, fried garbanzos, and razor clams. And they have pan con tomato, just like in Barcelona!

The yakitori is very good here, I think it beats the joints on St Mark’s Place… it’s more $$, but worth the extra cost. Make sure you go early for the ‘special’ yakitori – soft knee bone, etc.

Very expensive, but worth every penny. Sit at the counter with Yasuda and you will not be disappointed. Be sure to order flights of your favorite fish, you will get fish not usually available at most sushi restaurants. The last time I got a flight of toro – I recevied 5 different types of toro!

I don’t understand why the line is always out the door at this place. Their cupcakes are not as good as before – it’s DRY. And I’ve heard that they use margarine instead of butter…

I LOVE this place – go and order the skate fin, beef with miso, grilled pork cheek, and grilled chicken tsukune!

The ramen is not that good, but the non noodle dishes are great. I usually get the pork buns, chicken wings, oxtail stew, and grilled shrimp with corn cooked with bacon and miso.
