The service was fast and friendly, despite the odd hour (well, then again, it is a diner…)

I was with a couple of friends who got a number to buy a Harry Potter book and had only about an hour to do something. So, rather than wait around Borders, we went to Manos down the road for some good eats!

It’s a great place to satisfy those late night cravings for anything and everything comfort food! I ordered some Hot Cakes with Scrambled Eggs, it came with Fried potatoes.

Not only were those pancakes perfectly fluffy and absorbed the right amount of syrup, the eggs were amazing! Maybe it was late, and maybe its because I didn’t have dinner that night, but they were the perfect consistency for me. Not overdone or rubbery, but not to underdone and runny.

A friend of mine ordered some French Toast, while another ordered a burger, and was very satisfied too.

Again, perfect for a late night snack or craving!
