I love it. Can’t get enough of it. A “Nosh” size is just perfect for me and I don’t understand how anyone could finish anything bigger than that. lol…Best is the All American..the other ones i’ve tried aren’t bad either. Gruyere is wonderful with slab bacon and very hearty. Cheeseburger was a lil salty for me but definitely worth a taste. the servers behind the counter are a little rough around the edges……granted it’s not necessary to be friendly, but it certainly wouldn’t hurt. the food is what i’m there for tho and i can’t wait to go back!

The food is worth the four. Great cheap food. service is always quick and no-frills and floor is always slippery…but its the food that ur coming for. only thing that i think is wonderful are the Summer Rolls, I could 2 orders of them as an entree. Other key dishes like pho and com bo lu lac are great too. everything is very flavorful here and its a great place to go to if you’re not picky about service or decor :)

Tried this place out a few weeks ago on recommendation of friends. Sushi, totally not worth it. my bf didnt feel like sushi, so we did not receive the 50% discount…tried it anyway, and I now understand why the 50% discount is necessary….the sushi was just gross and not something i would ever wanna try again. my bf tried a variety of dishes that were totally overpriced and bland..we literally had to pour soy sauce over everything to give it some taste!!! Sigh…the 50% discount is just to make you feel like you’re getting a good deal, when you’re actually getting suckered….Service was slow on a weeknight. too busy flirting with each other i suppose…walk over to st marks and try any of the other japanese restaurants there, guaranteed they would be 10x better than this place…

I used to come here every weekend before I moved. My bf and i were pretty much regulars and knew everyone! lolz…the toro sashimi is soo delicious and just general velvety goodness!! you really cant go wrong with anything you eat here, sushi, tempura, teriyaki, katsu ALL GOOD!! and everything is so affordable. And like the previous rater mentioned, the fried ice cream is a real nice treat at the end of a delicious meal.

Everything was fantastic. Oysters were uber yummy of course, i had the seared tuna wish wasabi mashed potatoes which was definitely interesting and delicious. bf had another kind of fish with shrimp and pea mashed potatoes which were to die for!! i kept stealing some of his. and the service was incredible. decor left something to be desired, but for the food and the service, i could ignore it. can be pricey tho.

FINALLY tried it after years of wondering how it would be…absolutely loved it. went for lunch and the salad bar wasn’t that great. but once we flipped that disc, i was in heaven. all the beef was sooo yummy, the chicken, turkey, and fish, not the great. but all the different cuts of steak and the lamb were phenomenal! the side dishes were really good too, my fave was the fried polenta and the fried plantains! will definitely go again.

went for dinner on my birthday…it was fabulous, not as pricey as people think it is. we had all different types of beef including one of the kobe. sooo delicious, it just melted in your mouth. the service was very attentive but not overwhelming. although we weren’t stuffed to the brim with food, we left quite full at $40 per person. i also ordered the s’mores which was just fun to eat. they sang happy bday to me and everything cuz my father mentioned it the waitress.

went for restaurant week, although it seems that the entree prices weren’t too much of a difference from the regular menu price. the bf and i shared the guacamole. Guacamole=heaven. enough said about that. he had the steak and shrimp in a spicy tomato sauce with queso fresco (i forget the actual name as u can tell) which was good. i had the alambre something or other which was just cubes of tenderloin steak and chorizo kebob style with 2 different sauces, it was absolutely delicious. portions are huge. chocolate souffle was a bummer cuz it had a sour tomatillo sauce in it, which otherwise would have been good. pricey for mex food, but given the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere, totally worth it.
