I’ve been to the original one in Hawaii many times and was expecting a similar experience here. Although the service was decent and the atmosphere was about as good as one could expect in the heart of SF, the food left a lot to be desired.

You have gotta try the Chocolate Lava Cake (need to order 30 minutes in advance). My gf had the seafood sampler, while I had the prime rib. Both were absolutely incredible. And the restaurant (with the harbor in the background) was quite romantic. One of the best dinner dates I’ve ever been on.
