Delightful experience!

We went to this new restaurant because we had a coupon and can’t wait to go back. It is located at the other end of Eat N’ Park in the strip mall at the Wexford Exit of I-79.
The entire experience was great, from the service to the food. I had a pasta dish and my fiance had steak and potatoes. We have been looking for restaurants close to Wexford that don’t serve “bar food” and were both excited to find it here.

Best vegetarian

My friends who live in the city come here to eat very often and the menu has many different flavors to try. We brought my fiance who is a big meat-eater to dinner and he raved over the lasagne. We all had dinners that were fantastic and very filling. We enjoyed the organic beer and wine as well. The atmosphere was loud and diner-ish and it was too hot inside, but the food was great and the service was actually friendly in addition to being efficient. We loved our dinner here and I wish we could come often.

Nice dinner

Had a nice overall experience. The waiter was way above average and the food was good though not exceptional. Really nice atmosphere.

Dishes I tried:

This is supposedly a best-seller. To me they tasted like undercooked peanut butter pancakes. Way too sweet for a dinner entree.

I didn’t taste this because I’m a vegetarian, but my mother really liked it and took half of it home because of the huge portion served. It was the special for the night, not on the regular menu.

Good Mexican fare

This restaurant replaced Don Pablo’s in McIntyre Square and has basically the same decor. The menu is pretty standard for an American-style Mexican restaurant. I’m a vegetarian and was happy that the refried beans were vegetarian. The service was very good and friendly, the eating areas and restrooms were clean. None of the food was excellent, but all of it was good.

Dishes I tried:

Steak Tampiqueno

Large portion, cooked to order, hot when served. There was a lot of extra food which was overkill, including flour tortillas.

Veggie Burrito a la Mayo

The flavors were good but the veggies in the burrito were mainly onions and zucchini and it really needed some different colors and textures. The onions were pretty overwhelming. Again the sides were unnecessary and just took up space on the plate.
