This is definitely one of my favorite breakfast/lunch take-away spots in Seattle downtown area (on a nice sunny day). Perfect place for a quick & delightful bite at Pike Place Market!!
Shop is small – but selection is extensive! All kinds of Piroshky are displayed – every time… I have a tough time making my pick. Whether you are a veggie- or meat-lover, you will find something you’d enjoy. Also, the selection of sweet pastries is decent to satisfy your sweet tooth~~
So far every Piroshky I tried there is delicious: Smoked Salmon Pate (Seattle-visitors’ Must-try~~), Spinach Egg & Cheese (YUM!!), Smoked Mozzarella Broccoli & Mushroom (Yay!!).
I’d recommend this place – I’m still happy from my lunch break =)

Specialty’s bakeries are fresh & irresistible. They are sOoOoO good that you will not remember how carb-conscious you are.
Location is excellent – surrounded by office buildings and shops. It is definitely a popular lunch spot in downtown Seattle + my team’s favorite destination for lunchbox & cookie platters :)
My top picks:
Roasted Veggie Breakfast Sandwich (available all day!!)
Turkey & Cranberry (like the Sesame Sourdough.. Yum~)
Hot BBQ Chicken (if I want something warm w/ meat)

Enjoying high tea @ Peninsula was my dream when I was young. Dream came true in Chicago, yo :)
Can’t resist the elegance of the top-notch hotel!
Accompanied by a live string band, enjoyed the finger sandwiches, assorted pastries, scones with my choice of tea Tei Kwun Yin. Love the Macaroon there… hmmhmm . Guess my excitement show up on my face when the server checked in.. He offered us four more .~~

This is one of the best place I like chilling out with friends. Enjoy the cozy & relaxing atmosphere, good food and wine, delightful service. If you like pairing cheese & wine, you can’t miss this place. I once tried out several textures of cheese with my friends. I am definitely not a cheese-fans, but I enjoyed the experience!
What I like:
- dining @ the tables by the windows, looking out the 4th Ave and the building where I work :)
- high ceiling and spiral stairs
- portion and quality of food – just right for me!
- the educational menu (w/ wine terminologies)
What I wish:
- more selection in the menu

Friends brought me to this Hawaiian fusion chain restaurant.. not bad at all!!
The menu offers a great selection of fish dishes – salmon, mahi mahi, butterfish, cod… I was recommended the Blackened Ahi Tuna, which is really delightful. Everyone enjoyed their picks.
We completed our experience there with two desserts – Pineapple upsidedown cake & Chocolate souffle. They are both delicious that I can’t vote for the best!

Highly recommend for visitors!
Before you go, grap a visitor borchure “The Hancock Observatory”, which gives information about the buildings you are expecting to see.
Make reservation ahead if you dine in the restaurant – but window seating is NOT guarenteed!! The special request for a window seat will cost you another waiting hour even you get there on time!
Oh well.. Tourist-ie me walked back and forth the restaurant on the 95th/fl and the lounge on the 96th/fl, and take pictures. Time flied :)
Eventually we got a seat facing the Navy Pier (to the East). Not sure if the hour-long wait worths it :^^: If option is available, choose a table facing south, where you can see the perfect night view of Chicago downtown, including the world famous Sears tower!

Unforgettable dining experience in this fusion of Latin & Indian cruisines ^.~ Like the decor and food!
The selection of cocktails is awesome! Started off with a good portion of Lychee Martini & Blueberry Mojito. The presentation of the entrees – seafood stew and saag paneer – are cute and they taste yumyum too! I’ll definitely recommend this place.
