Had a quick dinner of two appies (Dip Trio, Tuna Tartare) and one entree (Honey Lager Braised Short RIbs), an ale and two glasses of wine.

Overall the meal was ok. Ambience is ok if the road traffic was a bit heavy and distracting. One waitress on duty which made things slow, luckily few patrons were in at the time.

I much prefer The Habit Lounge down at Main & 10th Ave for much better value and superior food quality and service.

Congee, noodles, rice dishes, small snacks what have you, they serve it up tasty and piping hot ! Good value for the money too. Service can be spotty at times, and the room’s din a tad high for me. But overall we could use more CNHs in other parts of town.

Solid place to casually hang out with small or large group. Well-planned menu, great value (generous portions), high quality ingredients, fast and friendly service (even on the very busy night we were there), well-matched wine list. Only small gripe is the room can be a bit smoky from the kitchen.

I agree it’s a solid place, although I had not gone there for late night snacks. Ironic it’s less than 10 blocks from our place. Perhaps in July when you two are in town ?
