Not worth the trip
This was the second time I have been and won’t be back.
Service was indifferent. Absolutely no sense of urgency or professionalism. Chipped nail polish, lax attitude.
Crab cake app was pan fried on one side only. The othe side never saw the heat. The presentation was extremely sloppy. The garden salad was room temperature and the peppers were no especially fresh.
Bangers and Mash were horrible. Bangers had been prepared “shoemaker style”. Deep fried. They actually appeared to be burnt. The casings were shriveled and split.
I can’t believe that anyone in Boston would pair canned “baked” beans with anything. But given the overall quality of the experience, I suppose I should be glad they did.
Fish was fresh. Beer batter was either too thin or a dredge. Either way it did not meet expectations.
On the bright side, the Killian’s was very tasty if slowly delivered when the place was mostly empty! Not a good experience.
The high point was watching the “cook/chef” lint brush the waitress’ butt in full view of the bar patrons.
Dishes I tried:
Bangers & Mash
Canned beans and deep fried, burnt bangers. Need I say more?
Crab Cake Appetizer
Soggy, greasy, cooked on one side. careless presentation.
