Great meal, but I wasn’t thrilled with their more affordable wine options (it’s not hard to have great, expensive wine!) and the tables were seriously crammed together.

Geno is back in Chicago – with some menu standbys and new creations. The mole is still outstanding – highly recommend it. I had a shrimp dish – and while the flavors were really outstanding, it was swimming in olive oil. Good olive oil, but a lot of it.

The outdoor patio is a great place to enjoy a summer evening in Chicago.

Great Italian food – good primi and secondi. The pastas (tagliatelle w/ meat ragu, pappardelle w/ duck) were both tasty. The stuffed double pork chop was also great, though the potato pancakes that came with it weren’t my favorite. The bread is also delicious.

I didn’t have any wine, but the wine list (while small) was good – especially since everything was available by the glass or the bottle.

Quartino is the perfect place to go with a group. The food is delciious and comes ready to share. Try the pizzas, the risotto and the meats and cheeses they have at the charcuterie bar…

Kaze is always a good time – great fish, interesting pairings.

The space is pretty small, though, so make sure you get a reservation – or just sit at the sushi bar.

It’s not the Indian food you’re expecting, but it’s totally worth it. North meets South – and everyone wins. It’s BYOB on top of all that.

Great place in Winnetka. We went for our anniversary and had a great meal. And it’s the suburbs, so you can get foie gras!

Love this vegetarian joint on Devon – great food!

Solid, good food. A little expensive and a little nicer than most of the rest of Devon street.

This place has a very wide selection of maki, but the sushi itself is just good… not great. There is a good deal if you come early on the weekends… I think it’s half price sushi.
