Nan is sooo good I think it’s hard to screw it up too badly… Just be careful – they chop up cloves of garlic & spread it everywhere inside the nan. It was kind of weird, chewing into tiny chunks of garlic, not to mention the bad breath afterwards!

indian food

I found the ambience of the restaurant very nice and calm. The staff and waiters were very considerate and attentive as well – not too in your face and not too hard to get a hold of. It was a bit pricey, but that seems to be the norm in north chicago…maybe?

This is the same dish I always get at every Indian restaurant I go to. This one was better than the others though because it had less oil (yay!). For those of us with sensitive stomachs, that means less aches & pains (& possibly no diarrhea)!

Good, friendly service. And there’s always a wait, but it’s never too long!

pesto, pesto, pesto!

Every time I’ve eaten here, I’ve gotten good food and good service! All of the managers are warm and very friendly. I always make it a point to eat here at least once whenever I’m back home!

I usually get this dish or the rigatoni. It’s awesome when it’s cooked in their pesto sauce. Weird – I know – but ever since a waitress recommended it, I’ve never been able to eat the “normal” version.

My fave...

This is my favorite Indian restaurant in North Chicago. They also serve Nepalese food but I have yet to try it. The dining atmosphere is nice and quiet with low lighting, though they can get really busy at night! But everyone who works there is still really nice and courteous. I’ve gotten great service every time. They also do take-out which is nice every once in a while. It can get a bit pricey, but it’s definitely worth it in my opinion!

Good every time! Lots of oil though, so be careful if you have a sensitive stomach!

Who could turn down some yummy garlic naan? They definitely don’t skimp on the serving either!
