Excellent chinese take out
I’ve been going to Chu’s for quite some time now, either this one or the one on Wendover.
They are very consistent and the food is always hot and fresh. I usually just stop in and order to take out and it’s ready in less than 10 minutes. If I’m on my way home from work I’ll usually call it in and zip through their drive through window.
I especially like their egg rolls, even though they are big compared to other places, they are good.
Dishes I tried:
Sweet and Sour Chicken Combo
Very good chicken, well cooked without being over done. Rice is always good, never clumpy, and the sauce is tasty. By the time I get home the sauce has usually cooled off, but a quick 30 seconds in the microwave and it’s awesome.

Excellent italian cuisine
This has been one of the best italian meals I’ve had in a long time. The appearance doesn’t seem like it’s going to warrant such a wonderful meal, but from the initial appetizer through the end of the meal it’s delicious.
The bread they make there is so delicious with a crisp tasty crust and a moist delicious loaf that is unbelievable. The portions are just right, and everything was fresh and delicious. The waitress we had was very friendly and attentive even though it start to get busy during our dinner.
The last time I had an italian meal this good was when I went to West Virginia. I very rarely get into a dinner, but this was just such an exceptional experience and I’m soo looking forward to going again.
Dishes I tried:
Bruschetta
Delicious thin sliced bread with fresh tomatoes and seasonings, along with some very good mozzeralla cheese melted on top. Little bit of oil when it was put in the oven on the bottom.
House Salad
Very fresh greens, with just a sprig or two of what I think was spinach, sliced red onions. cherry tomatoes sliced in half, some small chunks of mozerella cheese with Ranch dressing.
This is the first salad I really enjoyed at an Italian restaraunt, it was fresh and delicious.
Chicken Parmesagn with Potato Wedges and marinara sauce
Thinly sliced chicken lightly breaded, with a light marinara sauce with fresh parsley, and melted cheese on top. The potato wedges were seared in what seamed like a wine sauce, and a little bit of onions.
It was simply delicious, and the chicken was soooo good, I can’t wait to try the other dishes there.

Awesome chocolate
I went here before dinner when we went to Richmond to watch a hockey game.
I’m normally not a big chocolate eater, but they have a LOT of things besides chocolate here, and they have both no sugar added, and true sugar free products here.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, and it was just a wonderful experience.
It’s going to be a regular stop when we go on our road trips to Richmond from now on.
Dishes I tried:
Sugar Free Melted Ice Cream
This was kind of interesting, it was sugar free and came in a spray tube. A friend and I got the strawberry and banana and traded squirts to mix the flavors together. It had a very pleasant taste, with no harsh sugar-free flavor.
I’m going to use it whenever I’ve had something that leaves a bad flavor in my mouth, this will definitely exchange it for something much more pleasant.
Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Pecan Turtles
This is the one of the chocolates that I’ve tried so far, and it is DELICIOUS.
It has such a wonderful smooth flavor, and the pecans are very fresh and tasteful with no bitterness at all. I may be ruined from store bought turtle chocolates now :)
Sugar Free Chocolate black raspberry truffles
These are scrumpious, I love the harder shell around the soft truffle center, and the center has a very subdued flavor instead of trying to overpower you. The blend of the outer shell with the truffle makes for a very unique taste, and I absolutely love it. I can’t wait to try the other truffles I purchased.

Delicious pizza, great ingredients, awesome atmosphere
I went here with our road crew before the hockey game and although it doesn’t look like much from the neighborhood and outside appearance, the interior, food and environment made for a great pizza dining experience.
Dishes I tried:
Vegetarian Pizza
A friend and I split a medium vegetarian pizza. We substituted carmelized onions for the broccili and it was an excellent decision we think.
Our pizza had green peppers, cheese, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, mushrooms, carmelized onions ( I think that was all the ingredients)
The ingredients were all very fresh, and the order of the toppings was done well to prevent some from being under cooked, and some being overcooked. The peppers were crisp, the mushrooms soft, and the tomatoes were very good.
The crust was wonderful, but I am from Chicago so I like this type of ‘Pastry’ crust. It’s flaky, and has a sweet flavor to it. If I hadn’t known better I would’ve thought I was in Chicago, but what they called ‘deep dish’ would’ve been a normal pizza in Chicago. But it was delicious, plenty of toppings, and just a little bit of sauce.
The service was also excellent, our waitress was very friendly and attentive, and aside from one mistake on one persons order (we had about 10 people in our party) everyone got what they ordered. She did even come out and tell us how long the corrected order was going to take, which was very nice.
I highly recommend this restaraunt if you like pizza.
