Great seafood with a great atmosphere
Barnacle Bills is a great local seafood restaurant and raw bar that caters to everyone who loves fresh seafood without all the pretentiousness of other places. The food is fresh, and cooked in the open kitchen.
I’ve yet to have anything there that I didn’t like. I usually go on Wednesdays for cheap oysters. There is a different special each day. They are:
Sunday/Wednesday – 35c Hot Wings/ 35c Raw/Steamed oysters/ 25c steamed shrimp
Monday – $15.99 AYCE Crawfish
Tuesday/Saturday – $13.99 1 1/2 lb Alaskan Snow Crab
Thursday – $10.99 30 Shrimp Combo
Friday – Chef’s Choice
The service can be slow at times, and is the only reason I don’t give Bills a five star rating. Just don’t go when you’re in a hurry and you’ll be fine. Go often and get to know the crew and you’ll usually get better service. Tipping well doesn’t hurt.

Raw Oysters
Crystal Hot Sauce or some horseradish is all you need

Steamed Oysters
Shucked at the oyster bar with some butter. There isn’t a better meal.

Skillet
Bell peppers, celery, mushrooms, kielbasa sausage, and up to three of shrimp, scallops, oysters, chicken, or steak. Sauteed and served over rice. A great meal with a little bit of everything.

Corn nuggets
Fried corn and stuff. Sprinkled with powdered sugar. Awesome.
