Maybe Sushi is Like Crack
Once you have your first hit you search the rest of your life for that same experience. Wasabi Bistro is fine. Belltown elite don’t seem to mind a dirty floor or a dishwasher running none stop in the open bar feet from their table. The sushi was fine as well. With my attempt to highlight the positives in life I find it hard to avoid some negative. Maybe the room from of belltowners that day just didn’t give off the right vibe. I never say no to eating so I’m sure I’ll have chance to stop in here again.
Dishes I tried:
Sushi Roll #1
Sushi seems to have the perception of “cheap”, but what you get is lots of rice and a few ounces of fish. I’ve never been misguided but from the amount of people in the room when I dined it seems to work on a lot of the populous.

What Kitchen Did They Work In?
A chef who doesn’t get upset when a server screws up or sends them a strange order? Wow. I wish I knew what kitchen some people got their experience in. “Now everyone settle down and be good, please, common, I asked nicely.” Did you get patted on the head too?
I’ve always loved going to 94. They do a great job of changing their menu to suit the current times. There are a lot of $15-20 choices on the menu currently. Can’t go wrong with a Market Burger or a nice bowl of Mac-n-Cheese, that is actually made with some pretty amazing cheeses! With cut backs in all of our wallets its nice to see a restaurant able to so easily adept to our needs. Yes I’d love to order a $30 plate of scallops, but it is just not in the budget right now. Soon I hope. It feels like the winds are finally changing.
Dishes I tried:
Fried Avocado
Always in my budget!
Mac-n-Cheese
Tastes like $30 and I’m sure if I tried to make it with the same cheese at home it’d cost me at least that in just cheese.
New York Steak
I used to love to eat these but they just aren’t in my budget currently. Market Burger here I come!
Market Burger
A steal. I’m told Don and Joes grinds up the lamb for them. Its pretty tasty and everything it comes with makes it worth every dollar.

Great Indian Food
I’ll go ahead and give it a five because it is one of the better ones in the Seattle area. There is a place I love to go to in Portland that I would consider a step above this place. The chai is great here. All the dishes are tasty. And the hearing the foreign tongues in the kitchen yelling at each other makes me feel like I’m maybe in a market in India. Not a lot of parking the in the lot so plan to walk a little, but we all need that anyways – RIGHT.

What, no 10 star rating?
I’ve had the fortune to dine with Craig on many occasions over the years. Unfortunately I just don’t get down this way much anymore. I do always make it a point to stop by when I am in town however. Food is always top notch. Wine list is great. And I see that even though it changed hands for a short time the original owners have once again retaken the helm. Can’t wait to eat here again!
Dishes I tried:
Dahi Wada
They should charge $10! I’d pay it.
