Almost every Saturday my buddy and I meet here to eat in the morning. Longaniza tipica Dominicana – Fried Dominican style sausage.
Huevos frito – Fried eggs.
Queso frito – Fried white cheese sliced.
Café con leche – Coffee with milk.
Pan con mantequilla – Bread with butter. This is a Spanish roll
cut in half and cooked on a sandwich toaster.
We pass on the Mangu – Cooked, pureed plantains are topped with sauteed red onions. I find this too much to have a one time. Now this is not true of everyone since they have not started the day right without it.

I live one block from this restaurant and have been going there on a weekly bases. There are a lot of Dominican restaurants up in Washington Heights but for great food try them.
Their Chicharrones de puerco with moro is tops.
This is not a fancy place but for the price and food hard to beat. Also their rotisserie cooked chicken is tops. You have to come early since in the evening most of the food is gone.

When La Casa Del Mofongo open up the lines were in the street. Food was nice but the staff needs to be trained how to service the client. Went there for breakfast and all the waiters took there time in coming to the table. If you are taking food out the service is OK.

Have been ordering from this restaurant for some time. The other day tried a different dish from them and have to say it was a winner. The home delivery was super fast.

Sometimes get a taste for some Chinese food and this is the only one I have found to have a nice menu and fast home delivery. Since up in Washington heights there are quite a few places it took some time before we hit on this one. Each of the portions are large and can feed a few.

Two Country Club Frambuesa (Raspberry) soda known as Refresco Rojo.

Went out to dinner last night with a total of five people.
There were a total of two boys and three adults.
Now what makes this so special is the food was great
and the amount enough for us to take home.
The total cost was $82.42. The lady who served us
was great and took care of everything.

Recently I had lunch with a few friends and have to tell you it was a pleasure going here. The layout is first class and the service was great. I had Chicharron de Pollo sin Huesos (Boneless Chicken Chunks) with rice and beans and a side dish of fried sweet plantain. I can tell you it was great and it is impossible for you to eat it all at one time. In fact two people can eat from this order. You can’t go wrong here since they are open it looks like 24 hours. If you are coming by train, bus, or across the bridge its location is great. With televisions nicely located and table setups for a large group hard to beat.

Went to Ma Cuisine (Haitian) this Saturday (8-30-2008) past.
Our takeout order was Bouillion (soup), Griot (fried pork chunks), Plantain, and salad. One problem is the meat was too dry. It might help for the cook to watch his cooking time. Will try again since it is not too far to travel to.
Hope they can come up to the level of Le Soleil restaurant which is Haitian also.
