the tenderloin/mashed potato thin crust pizza is worth going in and of itself … and the service is excellent. expensive though, so only a once in a while event, for me at least.

get the sashimi solely … huge pieces, incredibly fresh. all the rumors are true!

the lobster prices keep going up, but i salute the salty/spicy squid and its greatness.

One of the best in Boston, and one of the few that deserves its reputation. Kudos to Michael Schlow for quality dishes and great drinks. Pricey though.

I thought the tapas were ok, overall good but not excellent. But the environment is great, excellent for dates – cozy tables, dark lighting. Couple that with the excellent wine and sangria selections and it makes up for a nice night. Although some of the areas of the restaurant are noisier than others.

terrifically cheap and good portions. I echo JustineC’s comments re: eggplant with basil, which is phenomenal and a must try. Also try the julienne beef with longhorn pepper, braised pork chop, and any of the noodle soups.

Oh Joanne Chang … your prowess with everything baked is never-ending. Seriously, some of the best breads and desserts in the city. And good breads make for excellent sandwiches; I’ve had pretty much every sandwich on the menu and they’re all terrific. The BLT, my personal is the best BLT I’ve ever had. But don’t forget to stay for the awesome cookies, cakes, pies, and tarts.
